Bethesda Youth Welfare Centre (BYWC) welcomes and guides students from colleges and institutions across Nagaland and beyond throughout the year. We believe that education extends far beyond the classroom, and that practical exposure plays an essential role in helping students understand the realities of society and prepare themselves for meaningful engagement with the world around them.
An internship is an integral part of the academic journey, providing students with an opportunity to expand their horizons, apply their classroom knowledge, and gain first-hand experience in a professional and social environment. At BYWC, we are committed to creating a learning environment where students and researchers can explore social structures, community realities, human behaviour, and the challenges faced by individuals and society.
Through the guidance and supervision of experienced professionals and subject experts, interns are encouraged to observe, learn, question, and develop a deeper understanding of the issues they encounter. We seek to nurture not only academic knowledge but also empathy, responsibility, critical thinking, and a spirit of service.
We believe that the experience gained at BYWC can help students broaden their vision and inspire them to become responsible professionals and compassionate members of society. The knowledge, insights, and experiences they acquire during their time with us can become valuable tools in their future endeavours, enabling them to contribute positively to their communities and become agents of change, service providers, and guiding lights for others.
